It's been a long absence, and frankly I was surprised to find my blog was still here. I'm going to start blogging again, and I commit to updating it weekly this year.
Since my last blog, we have enlarged our garden and added a flock of chickens to our menagarie. Construction on the new house has proceeded slowly, but we hope to pour the floor this spring.
I am still working in the accounting office of a small university. It's tedious work that does not seem to help us move closer to our goals of self-sufficiency, but it does provide us with health insurance and a stable income. I am exploring ways in which I can feel more connected to the farm while continuing to work, and I will blog about that here as well.
Happy 2012 to one and all.
Welcome to the Red Wagon Farm Blog
Red Wagon Farm grows vegetable year-round using organic techniques. We also keep chickens and ducks for eggs.
We sell our produce and eggs at the Alpine Farmers Market at the Hotel Ritchey Courtyard on Historic Murphy Street. We all sell homemade pickles, relishes and mustards.
The farmers market is open every Saturday of the year, from 9 am until noon.

I look forward to reading your blog! Can you post pictures of your house in progress? I have no idea what paper-crete is (although I can sort of guess.)
